Citizens of Georgia with biometric passports now can travel without a visa to Schengen Area countries and can stay for 90 days in any 180-day period.
Such a historic day for Georgians came into full effect on March 28. Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili was one of the first people who traveled without a visa to Schengen Area countries from Tbilisi airport to Athens. Before departure Kvirikashvili told the reporters that citizens of Georgia will finally be able to travel visa-free to Schengen Area.
Citizens of Georgia celebrated the great success across the country.
